Sketch Comedy Workshops @ CSz Theater Options

I will be teaching a sketch comedy writing class at the CSz theater starting Sunday February 10th. It will run for 8 weeks from 7-9 PM. The cost is $150 and space is extremely limited.

If you have no idea who I am, I'm Phil Spiegel and I was the founder and director of Punch! Sketch Comedy for our 3 year run. That group was selected to perform on the main stage of the Miami Improv Festival in 2005 and 2006 and an alternate stage of the DC Comedy Festival in 05. I also served as artistic director of the Richmond ComedySportz for about 2 years between 2004 and 2006. I'm also one half of the Wachobie Brothers and still show my face every so often on the CSz stage. For this class I've taken notes and thoughts from nearly a dozen different sketch writing workshops (including 2nd City and Groundlings) and packaged them into one 8 week intensive. If you want to be the next youtube sensation or put together a great live comedy show, this is definitely the class for you.
